The ChesMMAP trawl survey, operating on the 65' RV Bay Eagle, provides a capable sampling platform with broad geographic and seasonal coverage of Chesapeake Bay. Operating such a platform on a regular basis is too expensive for most projects to undertake by themselves. ChesMMAP looks for opporunities to collaborate with other researchers in need of the capabilities we provide.

To date we have assisted in the tagging of blue crabs and sea turtles, provided samples of striped bass for mycobacteriosis research, and samples for detailed diet analysis.
